Hello fellow Amateur Radio repeater enthusiasts! I know many of you have been frustrated for years over the condition of ham radio repeater coordination in Alabama. A special “Thank you” to the many of you who teamed up to do something about it. Which is the reason the Alabama Frequency Coordination and Repeater Advancement Society, also known as AFCRAS, was created by a group of us. Membership is growing along with the attention and support of repeater owners and trustees all over the state. This little video is just the beginning of some exciting news and technical videos which will start rolling out soon. While AFCRAS is about Alabama frequency and repeater coordination, it’s just as much about information sharing and communications between repeater enthusiasts. Watch the video, then visit AFCRAS on the web, join the movement, and be part of the future of repeater and frequency coordination in Alabama!
